Because
I didn’t have included in selling cake, hence I have to pass the funds from my
relatives and friends this week. Fortunately, all of them are willing to give a
fund and support our programme. I collected around RM 150 from them. I felt
very happy and grateful because they are willing to help their children and
support us. No matter how much you donated, it will be very helpful. Thank you
very much!
Besides
that, we have a rehearsal for closing ceremony and a briefing about the
activities and games throughout the event. We have to arrange our closing
ceremony and solve problems we face as soon as possible to ensure that our
event’s closing ceremony is going on smoothly. Even you all guys are quite
funny during the rehearsal, but I think we have a good arrangement of our
closing ceremony. After the rehearsal, I am felt happy because I have a close relationship
and bonding with you all as we are more understanding each other.
We
have to teach children to make origami, hence I have to learn how to fold a
frog, a crane, a bird and even a butterfly. Fortunately, Si Qing have taught
how to fold the jumping frog hand by hand. Thank you Si Qing! Even though I cannot
fold it properly, but she still teaches me patiently. However, I have to
memories all steps hence I need to practice and do it again and again because I
believe that practice makes perfect. After practice repeatedly, I would fold a
beautiful frog which is jumping further. It cannot be denied that origami
activity is quite fun and interesting, hence I think the children would be very
enjoyed in this activity.
Besides
origami, members from programme and protocol also give a brief about the
details of games and activities such as education, act and design and so on. Ming
Hui have taught us some simple Mandarin words for greeting, feeling. I noticed
that most of our teammates have a talent in learning Mandarin because they can pronounce
the Chinese words properly in a short time. I was surprising it as Ming Hui
just said once but they still can speak properly and understand the meaning!

On the other hand, we have a donation
drive again in this Friday. This is because we still have no enough to run our
event. Our sponsorship still cannot secure any company to sponsor money to us.
Because of this, we have to collect around 3K from the public. I think it is
quite tough because 3K is not a small amount. Anyway, Wan Yin, Ming Hui, Hui
Yuan, Jian Di and I went to SS17 for our donation drive. Even we have tried our
best to collect the fund, however we still collected a lower amount compared than
our last donation drive at TTDI. But don’t mind because I think we have did
well today. Well done, my friends! I wish the other groups can collect more
fund. Fighting, guysssssss! ! !
Finally, we have 7 days more for our
event. Are you feel excited about it? For me, I’m really excited and cannot
wait to meet the children. After a very long preparation, I think all of you are
looking forward of this event. Maybe these seven days are the most hectic days
for us to do the last preparation, but I think we can handle it because this
event is not for us, it’s for the children! And please do remember, you are not
alone to fight because we are one family, bioinformatics family!
