6th Entry : Sixth Meeting

"It's all about the money, money, money" Money: something generally accepted as a medium of exchange, a measure of value, or a means of payment: such as — money in a sentence. This medium of exchange had literally made our life turned into a complete chaos with a capital C. It's a disaster waiting to happen I tell you guys. This program is undoubtedly a blessing to us for being able to hold a charity ourselves. However, I can't help feeling that this program is becoming more of a burden than being a blessing, thus making me feels so guilty to the kids at the shelter house. But, luckily some of us that I talked to faced the same dilemma as I am, so I can share with them about what I feel and they understand. At least the burden feels lighter when we share the problem with each other.

So, only a week left for the BIG DAY!! Many things is almost done but one big problem we currently facing is the lack of money for our program. An urgent meeting was held among the MTs to solve this problem and we were given an ultimatum to solve the remaining amount of money issue needed by this week. It's very hard I tell you, being given a short time span to gain a lot of money. Veryyyy challenging, but I'm glad that a lot of effort were done by ALL of US😘. It's very comforting to have them together as one when things were hard during the whole journey for our big day.

I' m so grateful to family and friends who were willing to help me when I seek for their help to promote our program in their social medias..and they did it without asking for anything in exchange. It makes me believe that good people still exist in this world and to not lose our faith in them.

We also had our first facilitator's training this week and it was really fun. Before this we never have anything that helps us to really bond because not everyone will be at the same place at the same time. But, through this activity I feel that our bond became stronger and makes us more comfortable with each other. It was really nice and one of the things that I treasure the most through this event.

Besides that, we also did our 2nd donation drive as an effort to raise the fund for our program. It was very challenging and it feels like the odds is not on our side. The donation drive truly challenged our
patience and its like asking us to give up. But, everytime someone gave us some money during the drive, it's like a surge of energy suddenly motivate us to go on, and we did it! This lesson cannot be taught by anyone as we have to experience it ourselves to learn it.

This week is a bittersweet week. It's like drinking a black coffee with a few teaspoon of coffee. I learned that the sky is not always sunny, but when there is rain, surely God will make the rainbow after the rain. That is life and just go through it while enjoying every little thing you experienced.

What I want to throw : Nothing as all the bad experience makes me a better person
What I want to keep : Everything if possible. I wamt to remember all the good & bad things that happen and put it in a special place in my heart
