4 Fourth Meeting

Hii everyone, it’s me Farah. The Fourth week had us all pressured as we need to sell 7 cakes each and planning for the Donation Drive this Friday (2/3/2018).😮 It’s something that requires the commitment from every one of the Bioinfo members, either they are busy or not. Oh, and this week I was assigned to handle the selling of crackers/ keropok. 💨Finally, a ‘chance’. 💁

For the donation drive, we need to collect some donation from several places such as at Bangsar/Pasar Seni and TTDI. The students are separated into 2 groups each with a leader. I had choosen to join the Pasar Seni team as I had never been there before and maybe this could be a new experience for me.👌😁 Plus, I am hoping for a good teamwork and a lot of donation in the area.😅
 Okay, so on Friday, our team went to the place assigned and it was so crowded with tourists / foreigners. 😅We had tried going to each shop that we think to have the potential for giving us sponsors. Finally, a generous aunty had given us many old toys but still useable.😍 It was very kind of her and we are so happy.💖

 I realized it was REALLY not an easy job looking for donation/ sponsors.💀 KL is a busy city and everyone is always in a rush therefore, it’s hard for them to even give us some time to explain the details.😔 The donation we get from the public is not much but still it’s a good try and I get to be more knowing of each member.😊 I have heard from someone saying, in order for us to get closer to someone is to try going for travel with them. Only then, you will know their hearts.😏 Anyway, it teaches me to not give up because, great things take time and I believe in that. 🙈Till the next time, byeess!🙋
