G’ day!
How are things during the Chinese New Year?
Best wishes for the festive season to all of you, comrades. Hope it's been an
enjoyable and refreshing holiday. Wish our break’s off to a great resumption.💛
This week’s meeting discussion encompassed
mainly on the venue evaluation from the site visit conducted last week. Each
bureau presented their updates on this matter. As promised in the last meeting
by the sponsorship bureau, we resumed the cake sales this week. Two types of
cakes at reasonable prices are to be sold, namely chocolate moist cake and red
velvet cake. We hope that by doing so, we get enough fund for the programme
which will ultimately be channelled to Pusat Jagaan NURI. As part of the
sponsorship bureau, I know it's my responsibility to bear this burden promoting
the cakes and for that, I always prayed to God for wisdom, strength, energy and
determination. And as usual, I sold the cakes face-to-face. Thanks very much,
all of our ‘customers’ who are willing to support us. 💝
My bureau members and I also
discussed some other alternative to raise funds which will then be discussed in
the next meeting.😄
Several issues concerning accommodation and
transportation had also been raised and we came to the decision of staying in
the residential college in order to tighten our belt. We were also informed of
the age range of the children in Pusat Jagaan Nuri. As there will be quite a
number of changes to the tentative and other plans, we were also required to
revise the marketing proposal again. Most importantly, we were relieved to have
our official logo finalised and posted on social media, special thanks to Dr
Arpah and the multimedia & technical bureau. It means a lot to us and to
me, it serves as a reminder of our programme’s mission. We had also finalized the
programme T-shirt design and colour. Overall, the meeting went quite well.😆
Though this preparation phase is going to
be a long haul, not to mention time-consuming, we as a team cooperate well to
build each other up besides making our utmost endeavour for the programme’s
goal to be achieved. Hallelujah! Thank God for all these things. Thinking of
the contentment we would like to place in each child in Pusat Jagaan NURI
drives away all our stresses and strains. Let’s don’t give up, mates!💪
