It's week 4 and it means --- ONE MONTH HAS PASSED!!
It's getting closer and closer to our activity - visit to Rumah Kebajikan NURI at Setapak. This would be a memorable week for me throughout the event as we have gone for a donation drive. I've joined the team lead by Rehana to ask for donation at TTDI area. There were ups and downs in this day. There were people willing to donate, and there were also people reluctant to even listen to and answer us. Since I've gone for donation drive for other event and activities, I can adapt to the responds from them. Somehow, we were still able to collect a satisfied amount of donation, mostly from the customers in restaurants. Oh ya, my friends and I have met Encik Hafidz, the Super Hero of Coway! He has been so generous, helping us out with donation from him and will try to ask for sponsorship from Coway. WooHoo!! Hope that may become true so that we can have more fund for the children!
This week is so remarkable, as this is the week that I stop selling chocolate cake. Although I feel sorry to my coursemates, I've had hard time selling those cakes, since I've found that I'm having insufficient time as lots of activities are carried out and launched in this semester, and the amount of cakes to be sold is increasing as we need more capital for our project. Adilah, the head of marketing bureau has provided options to us, to sell cake or to collect fund from the others. I've selected to collect fund, and gave Fahmida RM300.00 which I've collected from my family and relatives. Hope this help our project. I will continue to try my best finding sponsors and collecting fund.
Lastly, I really hope that things could become easier in the coming three weeks. Hope more fund can be collected and more sponsorships can be gained. These few weeks are tiring, but it's worthy and meaningful.
