Hii everyone, it’s me Farah again. Oh waitttt, it’s already
the sixth week?!😅 Wow, time sure flies fast…especially when we are having fun
(or being busy…), that could only mean that we have only several days left
before our visit to NURI.😏
For this week, altogether, we had sell out keropok, done the
first rehearsal and went for donation drive. Since we don’t have that much time
left, everything needed to be done this week and all the preparations need to
be ready too. Of course, we wanted the event to be successful like our senior
did😇 and I hope that people could see our efforts, working as a team,
looking for the never-sufficient-fund …. 😓Thinking about it, we never did give
up for once, right? That's the spirit! Let’s stay strong! 💪
Anyway, I always have this uneasy feeling of hearing that
our budget/fund for the event is still inadequate. *sigh*💁 That’s why we did the
fund raising by going to several places. The amount of money we get wasn’t much
but it was the best we could do.🙆Truly, fund raising isn’t easy-😥 you need to
withstand the heat, talk to as many people as possible, accepting rejections💔, scarifying
your own money for the transportation... (IM-- OKAY…)😭 Despite that, I still am holding to one of the quote I found while reading a book, "The most amazing thing in life tend to happen right at the moment you're about to give up hope." 💥You may see us struggle, but we never quits.
The rehearsal was done at Sd6 and the facilitators were
taught in the making of origami, learn a little bit of mandarin and discuss on
what song should we use for the children’s performance. I could see that Bioinfo
members are really working hard.💪 Without realizing, we had our bonds strengthen
by teaching each other on what we lack of, helping each other despite the
difference in races.😊 Of course, that’s one of the purpose of taking this course.💃
