First of all, I would like to introduce myself. I am Tan Hui Yuan, treasurer of our social engagement (SE) Bioinformatics 2018. We have started to plan our project since our last semester. This has let our project go smoothly since the other course just set up their committee and rushing their proposal now. Until our first week of the second semester of 2018, what we have done is that the place, logo and shirt design, theme, marketing proposal and many other things. Although there are a few things that still need to polish to make it better, i think that cooperation will make the work better.
At our first week of the new semester, we have some briefing about this course. Thanks to our bioinformatics coordinator, Dr Arpah. We have some briefly introduction from her on 4th February. Then, at the same week, Dr Shamsul, biohealth coordinator has introduce clearly about this course with all of the ISB student that are going to have their SE project in this 2nd semester of 2018. I think I have clearly understand about this course outcome. The most important part is engage with the target group and how to express our feelings by writing and share to others.
